Concurrent Resolution that adds social card games to the list of authorized types of gambling that localities can allow subject to voter approval and legislative control.

People are playing poker on line and in poker rooms in legal casinos throughout the east coast. New York must not let this opportu- nity for tax revenue and jobs pass us by. New York State resident who play poker players will go elsewhere unless we act quickly to provide them with safe regulated poker parlors.
