BILL NUMBER:A10982

Title of bill

An act to repeal title 20 of article 7 of the public authorities law, relating to the Port Chester parking authority

Purpose or general idea of bill

Summary of specific provisions

Section 1. Title 20 of article 7 of the public authorities' law repealed.

Justification

The Board of Trustees shares the intentions of the State's recently passed Public Authority Accountability Act to eliminate dormant local public authorities, and has been taking its own proactive steps on a local level in an effort to mirror it.
