Title of bill

An act to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to designating village of Lake George seasonal constables as peace officers

Summary of specific provisions

Section 1 of the bill amends Section 2.10 of the criminal procedure law by adding a new subdivision 83.

Justification

The Village of Lake George hires 15-20 individuals each summer season to patrol their streets, enforce local laws and direct traffic.
