Section one amends subparagraph 7 of paragraph h of subdivision 4 of section 1950 of the education law.

Section two amends subdivision 4 of section 1950 of the education law.

Justification

This legislation would allow boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES) to contract with third-party vendors to support or provide technology, telecommunications and related services to school districts.
