(518) 371-8910 1 happens to be the 15th yahrtzeit, the 2 anniversary of the death of Rabbi Menachem 3 Schneerson. 4 For those of you who may not know, 5 the Rebbe, Rabbi Schneerson, was one of the 6 greatest spiritual leaders over the past 7 century. And one of the important things that 8 the Rebbe taught was about bringing goodness 9 and kindness to all people throughout the 10 world. 11 And I think, as we see these days 12 here in Albany and all across our great state, 13 if we can just take a moment of silence for 14 prayers for him and his family and to take in 15 the words that he taught and taught so many. 16 So if I could just ask for people to rise for 17 that moment of silence for the Rebbe, I would 18 appreciate it. 19 (Whereupon, the assemblage 20 respected a moment of silence.) 21 SENATOR CRAIG JOHNSON: Thank 22 you, Madam President. 23 ACTING PRESIDENT STEWART-COUSINS: 24 Senator Smith.
