BILL NUMBER:S4521A
Title of bill
An act to amend the public authorities law, in relation to authorizing the dormitory authority to construct and finance certain facilities for The Beacon Institute, Inc.
Purpose
This bill would allow The Beacon Institute, Inc. through the Dormitory Authority to improve and construct research and education facilities at its upstate research and development center located at the Old Main Building at Clarkson University's downtown campus.
Summary of provisions
This bill amends paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 1676 and subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the Public Authorities Law to add Clarkson University.
