An act to amend the executive law, in relation to establishing December third of each year as a day of commemoration known as "International Day of Persons with Disabilities"
Purpose
This bill would recognize the economic, cultural, and civic advancements that people with disabilities contribute to New York. It will also rein- force this state's continuing commitment to remove barriers that people with disabilities face.

Subdivision 3 of section 168-a of the executive law is amended by adding December 3 as International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Existing law
