Title of bill
An act to amend chapter 327 of the laws of 2006, amending the tax law relating to authorizing the county of Essex to impose an additional mortgage recording tax, in relation to extending the expiration and repeal of such provisions
Purpose
To extend the authorization granted to Essex county to adopt and amend local laws imposing a tax of twenty-five cents for each one hundred dollars until December 1, 2018.
Summary of provisions
Section 1 Amends Section 3 of chapter. 327 of the laws of 2006, as amended by chapter 229 of the laws of 2012 to authorize Essex county to impose an additional mortgage recording tax.
