An act to authorize Micki Guy to elect to participate in the optional twenty-year retirement plan for firefighters employed by the city of Glens Falls in the county of Warren
Purpose
This legislation authorizes the City of Glens Falls to reopen the optional twenty-year retirement plan to firefighter Micki Guy.
Summary of provisions
This bill authorizes the City of Glens Falls to make participation in the optional twenty-year retirement plan, established pursuant to Section 384-d of the Retirement and Social Security Law, available to Micki Guy, a firefighter employed by the City of Glens Falls, who failed to make a timely application to participate in the optional retirement plan.
Justification
