Justification
In 2002, the town of Irondequoit executed a lease with Omnipoint Communications, Inc. the use of town-owned parklands for the installation, use and maintenance of a wireless communications facility. The town failed to secure state legislative approval authorizing, the predecessor in interest of T-Mobile Northeast LLC. This bill would validate that lease and authorize the town to negotiate an additional lease term not to exceed twenty-six years.
