        AN  ACT  to  amend the judiciary law, in relation to exemption from jury
          service
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. The judiciary law is amended by adding a new section 511 to
     2  read as follows:
     3    §  511. Exemption of election inspectors. Any person who has served as
     4  an election inspector in any general, local or special election shall be
     5  exempt from service as a juror for a period  of  four  years  from  such
     6  service upon claiming exemption therefrom.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
