Targets funding specifically at hiring school resource officers and supporting DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) programs. , which could lead to increased law enforcement presence in schools and greater emphasis on drug prevention education, potentially affecting school climate and student interactions with police.
Establishes state-issued standards and guidelines for distributing these grants or reimbursements. , which could influence how equitably funds are allocated and what types of safety or educational initiatives are prioritized in different communities.
