Senate Resolution No. 2842 BY: Senator LANZA MEMORIALIZING Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to proclaim September 2017, as Chiropractic Health Month in the State of New York WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize official months that are set aside to increase awareness of health related matters that affect the lives of citizens of New York State; and WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to memorialize Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to proclaim September 2017, as Chiropractic Health Month in the State of New York, in conjunction with the observance of National Chiropractic Health Month; and WHEREAS, The Chiropractic profession was founded on September 18,

1895, and has been a licensed occupation in the State of New York since

1963; and WHEREAS, Chiropractors are trained healthcare professionals who use a variety of drug free, non-surgical treatments for numerous neuro-musculoskeletal conditions; and WHEREAS, Chiropractors encourage patients to participate actively in their… Show all

Cuomo to proclaim September 2017, as Chiropractic Health Month in the State of New York; and be it further RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to The Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo, Governor of the State of New York; the New York State Chiropractic Association; and the New York Chiropractic Council.
