Honor Student Music Achievement

Senate Resolution No. 321 BY: Senator BONACIC HONORING Faith Kuliszewski upon the occasion of being selected to participate in the National Association for Music Education All-Eastern Mixed Chorus WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the dedication and commitment of our young people who distinguish themselves through excellence in musical competition; and WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Faith Kuliszewski upon the occasion of being selected to participate in the National Association for Music Education All-Eastern Mixed Chorus, to be held April 5-8, 2017, in Atlantic City, New Jersey; and WHEREAS, Faith Kuliszewski will perform Alto 1 at the Biennial Eastern Division Conference, a competition which is held every two years and is hosted by a local state Music Education Association; and WHEREAS, With the assistance of her music teacher, Faith Kuliszewski, a student at Wallkill Senior High School, will prepare remarkably challenging music and perform under the leadership of a prominent conductor in this biennial event; and WHEREAS, Music competition provides an opportunity for students to exhibit their practical skills to an audience, thereby giving them a sense of pride in their hard work and efforts; and WHEREAS, This momentous occasion presents an opportunity for this Legislative Body to wish Faith Kuliszewski continued success throughout her school years and beyond; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to honor Faith Kuliszewski upon the occasion of being selected to participate in the National Association for Music Education All-Eastern Mixed Chorus; and be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to Faith Kuliszewski.
