What's happening

The resolution honors Joan Guarnieri, RN, for receiving the Sally Dean Award from UHS Delaware Valley Hospital, recognizing her distinguished nursing service.

Why it matters

  1. Recognizes decades of leadership in healthcare innovation. Joan Guarnieri’s career highlights include introducing advanced services like 3D mammography, MRI, and pain management at a rural hospital, showing how individual leadership can directly improve local healthcare access and quality.
