2018 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award by the American College of Health Care Administrators; and WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion will be celebrated at the American College of Health Care Administrators' (ACHCA) 52nd Annual Convocation and Exposition on Tuesday, April 24, 2018; and WHEREAS, This prestigious award was named in honor of Eli Pick, one of the organization's most revered leaders; Patrick McFeely truly epitomizes the ideals and goals of this outstanding man; and WHEREAS, A resident of Hamburg, New York, Patrick McFeely began working at The McGuire Group's Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga, New York, when he was a teenager; through the last 24 years, he has held roles in both the dietary and development departments; and WHEREAS, Currently, Patrick McFeely holds the title of Administrator for the Garden Gate Health Care Facility; in this capacity, he is responsible for the overall operation of the organization; and WHEREAS, Patrick McFeely's ongoing efforts and notable achievements have significantly contributed to bettering the quality of life in his community; and WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure, he continuously displayed initiative and an unrelenting commitment when pursuing the highest of goals, and he has served as a role model of leadership to be emulated by all; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to honor Patrick McFeely upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the 2018 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award by the American College of Health Care Administrators; and be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to Patrick McFeely.
