Senate Resolution No. 4053 BY: Senator JACOBS COMMENDING Peaceful Soul Farmers Market upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2017 Emerging Business Award by the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce WHEREAS, In New York, the dedication and entrepreneurial spirit of small businesses are vital to the prosperity and vibrancy of every community across this great State and Nation; and WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Peaceful Soul Farmers Market upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2017 Emerging Business Award by the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce, to be celebrated at its Annual President's Award and Recognition Dinner on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Evans Center Banquet & Conference Facility, Evans, New York; and WHEREAS, The immediate success of Peaceful Soul Farmers Market is in direct correlation to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individuals and businesses of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention, they should be recognized and applauded by all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to commend Peaceful Soul Farmers Market upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2017 Emerging Business Award by the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce; and be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to Peaceful Soul Farmers Market.
