Honor Adam Riehl Achievement

Senate Resolution No. 4550 BY: Senator BONACIC HONORING Adam Riehl upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the Sullivan County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and WHEREAS, Adam Riehl has given not only of his time and energies but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has been designated for special recognition; and WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Adam Riehl upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the Sullivan County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition; and WHEREAS, A resident of Liberty, New York, Adam Riehl graduated from both Marist College and SUNY New Paltz; he also obtained his New York State School Building Leader/School District Leader Certification; and WHEREAS, Adam Riehl began his 18-year career in special education as a teacher, crisis intervention worker, teaching assistant and aide at Dutchess BOCES; he then went to Sullivan County BOCES where he currently holds the title of Principal of Specialized Programs; and WHEREAS, In this capacity, Adam Riehl diligently works to maintain a safe, equitable learning environment for all of his students; he also provides the staff with support, guidance and patience to ensure a high quality working environment; and WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and community service, a period of constructive involvement, Adam Riehl has stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and WHEREAS, When he is not working or helping someone, Adam Riehl enjoys staying fit and loves to spend time at the ocean with his family; he also likes to read and listen to music; and WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, and their daughter, both of whom have shown him love and support and rejoice in his many achievements; and WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to honor Adam Riehl upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the Sullivan County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition; and be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be transmitted to Adam Riehl.
