Zebrowski CONGRATULATING Assunta Lombardi upon the occasion of celebrating her 102nd Birthday on October 4, 2018 WHEREAS, Senior citizens bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the increasingly active roles they play in today's society; their past contributions and future participation are a vital part of, and valuable asset to, the fabric of community life and activity; and WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate Assunta Lombardi upon the occasion of her 102nd Birthday to be celebrated Thursday, October 4, 2018; and WHEREAS, Assunta Lombardi, affectionately known as Sue, was born on

October 4, 1916, as one of 10 children; and WHEREAS, Sue Lombardi married her devoted husband of many years in

1940, and together they raised one son; she spent her career as a seamstress and later as a school aid in Brooklyn, New York; and WHEREAS, Sue Lombardi, with her zest for life, has inspired and enhanced the lives of her family and friends; and WHEREAS, Today,… Show all
