        Introduced  by Sen. LANZA -- (at request of the Office of Court Adminis-
          tration) -- read twice and ordered printed, and  when  printed  to  be
          committed to the Committee on Codes
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  criminal procedure law, in relation to the rape
          shield law
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The  opening  paragraph  of section 60.42 of the criminal
     2  procedure law, as added by chapter 230 of the laws of 1975,  is  amended
     3  to read as follows:
     4    Evidence  of  a  victim's  sexual conduct shall not be admissible in a
     5  prosecution for an offense or an attempt to commit an offense defined in
     6  article one hundred thirty or section 230.34 of  the  penal  law  unless
     7  such evidence:
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
