Adds professional penalties. by making participation in a supervised injection site a violation under professional licensing law, risking careers and licenses of healthcare providers who engage in or assist with these programs.
Signals a policy stance against supervised injection as a harm reduction strategy. , potentially affecting broader debates on public health responses to drug addiction and shaping future legislative or regulatory approaches to overdose prevention.
