AN ACT to amend the general municipal law, in relation to environmental conservation officers

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 1 of section 209-q of the general municipal law is amended by adding a new subparagraph (v) to read as follows:

(v) the holder has completed the basic school for environmental conservation officers as a sworn member of the division of law enforcement in the New York state department of environmental conservation.

§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
