What's happening

Protects student transportation services. by ensuring that the contracts for the 2022-23 school year remain valid, avoiding possible disruptions or uncertainty for families and bus providers.
Sets a precedent for legislative intervention. in local school district contract errors, signaling to other districts that similar issues might be resolved through state action rather than strict adherence to procedural law.
