What's happening

  2. Provides flexibility for religious observance conflicts. by allowing the election date to shift to the second Tuesday in May if necessary, promoting inclusivity for religious communities.

  3. Could impact election turnout and campaign strategies. , as moving the date may affect which voters are available and engaged, and candidates may need to adjust their outreach efforts accordingly.

  4. Entrusts the Erie County Board of Elections with conducting school board elections in a manner consistent with other public elections. , which may streamline administration and ensure uniformity in election procedures.
