        AN ACT to amend the civil service law, in relation to 55-c programs
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1. Section 55-c of the civil service law, as amended by chap-
     2  ter 603 of the laws of 1995, is amended by adding a new subdivision 3 to
     3  read as follows:
     4    3. When posting jobs that fall under the provisions of  this  section,
     5  all  state agencies shall prominently identify on such posting that such
     6  job is "55-c Eligible".
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
